It is in bad taste as well as destructive for Democrats/progressives to attack our own people. In this case, candidates for Secretary of State.
Here is a thought: Blythe has been campaigning hard for a number of months, and we appreciate and acknowledge that.
At the same time, if this post, and other posts you are putting on social media, are actually shills for the Potter campaign, shame on you. Does not reflect well. Be honest.
If you are campaigning for Blythe, do not attack Beau. You are shooting us progressives and Democrats in the foot. Big mistake – this can splinter our party, and we cannot afford that in our heavily gerrymandered state.
If you are campaigning for Blythe, be upfront, be decent, be honorable. Talk about her virtues, period.
I think a lot of us differ on who we consider "our people." Just because someone puts a 'D' next to their name doesn't make them one of the good ones. Eric Swalwell was a predator. Bob Menendez was corrupt. Henry Cuellar is corrupt. And yes, EVAN Bayh was corrupt.
We must do our due diligence and old "our own" to a higher standard. Otherwise we're in a cult just like MAGA.
I appreciate your concern, however, I'm not a mouthpiece for any candidate or party. I'm a concerned Hoosier who would be doing research into donors regardless of who was running. Beau Bayh has some problematic donors (to say the least) and I've noticed that when legitimate questions come up, the response from some Bayh supporters tends to focus on attacking the messenger rather than addressing the donations themselves.
I also think it's worth asking why the Democratic Party would endorse a candidate who accepts money from private equity, the pro-Israel lobby, fossil fuels, pharmaceuticals, and biotech—all while running on a platform of restoring trust and accountability to the Secretary of State's office. Our current SoS, Diego Morales, is funded by auto dealers across the state. Clearly that’s a conflict of interest when he runs the auto division through the SOS office. But I see a similar problem here: taking money from industries that are regulated through the securities division of the SOS office.
If we're going to hold Republicans accountable, then we should be principled enough to hold our own accountable too. Thanks for the comment, hope this helps.🙂

Why do you not want Hoosiers voters to know this information?
