I don’t get it. I knew Joe 35 years ago, when he started in politics. He was a Democrat then. Has he just been hanging out with Republicans too long?

I honestly think he does not believe that Democrats can actually exercise power as Democrats anymore. He thinks the best we can do is make little moves around the edges and keep our heads down.

My disagreement with this philosophy is the main reason I got into politics.

I strongly disagree with his philosophy. If he won’t use his platform, he is ceding it. Thank you for your involvement. If you haven’t seen the UNFTR podcast, The Revenge Porn Presidency, I highly recommend it. When Democrats regain power, if they don’t move at the same speed to rebuild America and relieve the people, they are doomed. The question Max poses at the end is, who could/would be able to lead a transformational administration? I have thoughts about that.

I love UNFTR, and I love this comment.

I’ve given that question a lot of thought… with the right cabinet, I think John Stewart could be a likely candidate. He wouldn’t let corporations rule, not even the DNC, and he would be for the people.

I actually really like the idea of him running and he would immediately be in my top tier.

He has name recognition and would likely have the happiest administration on record. 😂

But, his cabinet would be key. All progressives. And… he’s no spring chicken… the stress of the position could take a toll… he may not want it.
